Our theme for the 2025 Christian Business Women’s Breakfast is “Flourish.” If each of us is honest, our desire is to flourish in all areas of our lives — mentally, physically, spiritually, professionally, relationally, and financially. Yet, so often, when we try to find success in each of these areas in our own power, we find ourselves in quite the opposite place than the destination we intended. Rather than flourishing, we find ourselves utterly exhausted, trying to have it all. That’s because it is impossible for us to flourish – to bear fruit – on our own without Jesus.

All over the Bible, God shows us that His desire is that we live the abundant life — that we would prosper. The Bible says, “Beloved, I pray that in every way you may prosper and enjoy good health, as your soul also prospers” (3 John 1:2). And it is Jesus that shows us HOW. In John 15:5, Jesus says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” He tells us to remain connected to HIM — the vine. And, as we do so, we will bear fruit — we will FLOURISH! And this is where we will focus this year’s breakfast!

This year’s breakfast takes place Wednesday, October 22nd, at The Ritz Carlton – St. Louis. We will be served a delicious breakfast and enjoy an uplifting time of fellowship, powerful worship from Element Church, and an empowering message! Our 2025 speaker is Toni Townes-Whitley, a global technology leader, a leader in the Faith & Work initiative, and CEO of SAIC, where she leads annual revenues of $6.9 billion and approximately 24,000 employees, who provide engineering, digital, artificial intelligence and mission solutions across the defense, space, civilian and intelligence markets!

The Christian Business Women’s Breakfast is produced by The Rooted Sisters, a 501(c)3, designed to be a safe place for professional women to gather to study the Word of God, grow in their faith in Christ, and learn to lead others to do the same. Through this event, we pray our attendees – leaders from businesses and organizations nationwide – will grow in their faith and receive encouragement that leads them towards Jesus so that they can flourish in every aspect of their life! When this happens, we are confident that their abundance will overflow and reverberate throughout the marketplace!
